Accelerating procurement maturity to increase profit and support growth
Problem
Equiniti Plc, a global financial services technology company was experiencing significant growth and had acquired over 12 FinTech businesses in the past 3 years. The procurement function was not at the required maturity level to deliver the value to support the business growth strategy.
Solution
We designed and implemented a 3-year procurement transformation that accelerated the maturity of the department to become a strategic, value creating function, directly supporting the delivery of the corporate strategy. The transformation included; creating a centre led operating model, new service offerings, upskilling the team in category management/commercial discipline, offshoring transactional procurement, digitalising key process (P2P/SIM/SRM) as well as embedding a global SRM framework.
